About Me

I’m Todd Schulte.  I’m known for building high performing, tight knit sales teams.  I’ve developed over 40 VP’s or higher in my career, have a reputation of taking corporate revenue through the hockey stick growth curve and establishing rapid rocket ride growth. 

 

Outside of work, my mission is to improve humanity one person at a time.  By teaching the next generation to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and live adventurously I believe we can make the world a better place. 

 

I live in Longmont, Colorado in an 1891 Victorian that we’ve been restoring over the past decade.   I also love fly fishing exotic tropical locations with my son.

Invested in SaaS, mobile marketing, and predictive analytics companies

Focused on early stage SaaS technology companies with an emphasis on disruptive mobile marketing and real time data mining. Led The Caleb Group’s investments in Sidewayze, Lost Pet Station, and QR my Pet. Key Achievements: ● Sidewayze built the world’s first SaaS mobile marketing optimization platform for the automotive industry. Sidewayze enabled dealers to measure, analyze and optimize the customer experience in real time. Operationally, it optimized inventory control, turn, and flow. QRmyPet did the same for animal shelters. ● Lost Pet Station built the world’s first mobile alert system for lost pets. LPS enabled those that lost their pets to send an “Amber” alert to the closest shelters ,and notified owners immediately once found, with GPS directions to the location.

Lead new client acquisitions for this hyper-growth online behavior advertising business.

Lead business development division providing targeted online display advertising to top 500 internet/retail and multichannel merchant advertisers. Coordinated corporate growth strategies to business development strategies and tactics to achieve goals. Key Achievements: ● Restructured business development division with multiple locations and offices across country to focus on the top 100 e-commerce businesses. ● Business grew from $7MM in sales on track to hit over $60MM, and had acquired almost 30% of the top100 e-commerce businesses as clients.

Lead new client acquisitions for this $120 million multi-channel database marketing business.

Full responsibility for top-line factors including sales targets, long and short-range strategic planning, and customer relationship development. Directed operations for multiple sales divisions/teams across the nation, defined organizational culture, and oversaw all contract negotiations. ● Completely re-engineered division’s operations, structure, and teams, resulting in division’s best performance in company history. ● Consistently developed strong, sustainable relationships with many of the executive decision makers in the largest multi-channel marketers in the country, resulting in over $15 million in new account revenue.

Oversaw all sales and management functions of $32 million multi-channel marketing book of business with multiple offices and teams nationwide. Directed complete turnaround of multiple, underperforming sales teams resulting in an increase in sales performance of 15%.
